Learn about easy solutions for conserving, capturing, sinking and managing water on your property in a program at Bernardsville Public Library on Tuesday, March 12 at 7:00 pm. Wanda Knapik,
owner and founder of My Local Garden, will talk about rain barrels, drip
irrigation, rain gardens and landscape solutions for your home and backyard, as
well as simple and practical steps to keep water in your landscape, out of your
basement, and out of the streets. Find
out how to be part of the solution to prevent storm water runoff and conserve
water. There will also be a
demonstration of rain barrel installation and a slide show with rain garden
examples, all followed by a Q and A session.
There is no charge to attend the
program, but advance sign-up is requested.
