If you have questions about the practicality of installing a residential solar energy system for your home, about tax credits and rebates, and whether such a system adds to the value of your house, come to Bernardsville Public Library on Tuesday, March 8 at 7:00 pm when Christal Rosenka and Sean Barr of Independent Solar will discuss the basics of solar energy systems. They will explain how a solar PV system works and discuss available technology and options, tax incentives and renewable energy credits, and how long it might take to break even. Most importantly, they will describe what constitutes good property for going solar and what elements are crucial to designing the best system for your energy and financial needs.
Headquartered in Clinton, NJ, Independent Solar specializes in solar and renewable installations in Hunterdon, Warren, Morris, and Somerset Counties.
There is no charge to attend the program, but advance sign-up is requested. Register online at www.bernardsvillelibrary.org and follow the link under Adult Programs, or call the library at 908-766-0118 to sign up.
