Rain Barrels and Rain Gardens

Learn about easy solutions for conserving, capturing, sinking and managing water on your property in a program at Bernardsville Public Library on Tuesday, March 12 at 7:00 pm.  Wanda Knapik, owner and founder of My Local Garden, will talk about rain barrels, drip irrigation, rain gardens and landscape solutions for your home and backyard, as well as simple and practical steps to keep water in your landscape, out of your basement, and out of the streets.  Find out how to be part of the solution to prevent storm water runoff and conserve water.  There will also be a demonstration of rain barrel installation and a slide show with rain garden examples, all followed by a Q and A session.

There is no charge to attend the program, but advance sign-up is requested.  Register online at www.bernardsvillelibrary.org and follow the link from Adult Programs, or call the library at 908-766-0118 to sign up.
